It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges on your surfaces, you can use a cleaner that gets rid of fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

The temperature of the freezer is near-perfect, with a range of less than a fraction a degree off of the ideal.

Although the Bosch refrigerator is pricier than the GE Appliances model, it offers more features, making it worth the cost. It has a door-in-door storage area, which allows you to store food items in a bin that fits right in the fridge door and comes with a drawer that can be converted to five temperature settings that are designed to accommodate different types of beverages such as snacks, meat, and wine. french door refrigerator freezer -depth refrigerators have a lot of storage into a small footprint. These counter-depth refrigerators are also less expensive than standard-depth French door fridges, and they could remove the need for an under-counter smaller freezer.  LG Smart Mirror InstaView counter-depth refrigerator (LMWC23626S) is no exception and offers the capacity of a standard fridge, but in a sleek, modern design, with an integrated dispenser that makes it easy to access the water filter.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are roomy, and the top right shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelves that permit taller items to fit. The bottom of the refrigerator has a set of more crisp drawers, and the full width deli drawer is ideal for meat and fresh produce.

The refrigerator is equipped with a recessed freezer on the back wall. This helps save space and allows you to store more bags of ice. The refrigerator is equipped with a door-cooling system, which uses vents in the freezer and fridge doors to bring cold air into the refrigerator. It helps to prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures more consistent throughout the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator stands out in our tests, and comes with plenty of capacity to keep a family well-fed however, it has some quirks that we found annoying. First the freezer drawers don't stay as cold as we would like. The middle drawer sat at 41 degrees during our peak usage test which is hot enough for ice cream and other frozen foods. The temperature of the rest of the freezer was at around 36 degrees.

Another issue is that the refrigerator doors have sunken handles both on the inside and under which makes it difficult for those who are smaller to close them. It may seem trivial however, we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators, which make them more convenient to open and close.

This fridge is a bit pricey, but it's worth the money for anyone who wants an ultra-sleek look in their kitchen. We recommend this refrigerator for those who want to upgrade their current refrigerator, or for those who are building a new home and want a more integrated design in the kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's newest counter-depth French door fridge, the RF23M8090SG is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also did well in our cooling test, but we're not a fan of the gimmicky handles or the fragile crisper bins.

One thing that makes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line which lets you personalize your fridge with removable colored panels that can be swapped when you're tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 color options including soft pastels, bolder hues and four metallic finishes. The panels can be customized to include photos or text. This will make the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon, or tie-dye Crocs.

You can even change the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is a nice touch. The interior of the refrigerator has an intelligent finish that reduces smudges, and makes cleaning simpler. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its slightly congested beverage center and an incline to learn curve when it comes to opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water pitcher as well as dispenser. You must look for the lever that is located under halfway down the door. Once you find it, the second door opens within the fridge, containing the docking station for the pitcher and the water dispenser.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to hold a lot of frozen foods, and it features an impressive slide-out drawer system that allows you to get the food you're searching for without opening the whole compartment. There's also a butter-bin-style compartment in the freezer to allow for easy storage of small items and a large capacity drawer that stores bulkier frozen items. The drawer can be locked with a password, so that anyone who isn't a good fit is kept out. It also comes with a handy LED to help you see what's inside at a glance. The freezer can also track energy usage and help you lower your power bills by using the SmartThings Energy Mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators are a great addition to any kitchen. They look neat and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. If you want the convenience of this style without the additional height, a counter-depth fridge is the best option. This model from Frigidaire, which we've tested extensively, has received an above-average rating in our ratings because of its low cost and thoughtful features such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has some irritating issues. Our test data shows the FGHB2866PF can get very hot often in the freezer, and can become uncomfortable hot in the most inner shelves of the refrigerator. That's reflected in our heat maps, which show how the internal temperatures vary from minute to minute. The butter bin in the orange region at the top right is extremely warm during our testing period. This might not seem too bad at first however, it means that the fridge spends a good part of the time at 33 degrees.

It's also worth noting that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which could be a consideration for some buyers. The issue is that this fridge isn't the best. It's not equipped with the latest features and durable construction, making it difficult to recommend it over more expensive options at this price point.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is similar to the stainless steel version that you might find in your local appliance store. It's a great option with a brushed-finish that looks nice and is resistant against streaks. However, it doesn't offer much to differentiate itself from competitors that are more feature-rich and less expensive.

If you're looking for a counter-depth french-door fridge, but don't want spend an excessive amount of money the FGHC2331PF could be worth looking into. It's big enough to meet the requirements of many families and does a great job of keeping food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient unit, it's still much less expensive than our top-rated models.
